VILLAGE OF BRIARCLIFF Village Council Public Hearing Minutes – August 28, 2019

Mayor Hostetler called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Present: Aldermen Aldrich, Elliott, Johnston and Richmond. Absent: Alderman Hertel.

Mayor Hostetler explained that we had to move some salaries around to the proper categories (ie. Admin, Court or Water). Water Department budget has not changed much. There will be discussion about the Constable contract agreement in the Regular meeting. The Commissioners Court is set to meet on September 3rd.

Mayor Hostetler explained the tax rate will go down a little bit which amounts to $20.00 a year on a $400,000 House.

There were no comments or questions from the Council or Citizens.
