VILLAGE OF BRIARCLIFF Village Council Public Hearing Minutes – July 24, 2019

Mayor Pro-Tem Hertel called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Present: Aldermen Aldrich, Elliott, Hertel, Johnston and Richmond. Absent: Mayor Hostetler.

Mayor Pro-Tem Hertel explained the Public Hearing process, the budget numbers and that the Village has to have three Public Hearings.

Alderman/Treasurer Richmond explained this meeting is a first review of the proposed 2019/2020 General Fund and Enterprise Fund Budgets. The Village has Finance Committee meetings to discuss the proposed budgets.

Alderman/Treasurer Richmond, explained the Village is waiting on documentation from Travis County to review in regards to 2019 Property Tax Rate.

Alderman/Treasurer Richmond, explained there will be no change to the 2019 Interest & Sinking Fund Tax Rate.

There were no comments or questions from the Council or Citizens.
