Village of Briarcliff Village Council Public Hearing Minutes August 26, 2020

Mayor Hostetler called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Mayor announced the total current tax rate for 2019-2020 is .1319 going down for 2020/2021 to .013/ per 100 valuation.

Present: Aldermen Elliott, Hertel, Johnston and Richmond. Absent: Alderman Aldrich

Treasurer Richmond explained this is our second Public Hearing for the proposed Budget for the fiscal year 2020-2021. We had a Finance Committee Meeting to review and discuss any changes to be made regarding some of the proposed budget numbers on Monday, August 24. The proposed property tax for M&O .0560 and interest & sinking will be .0740 for a total of .013/ per 100 valuation.
