Village of Briarcliff Village Council Public Hearing Minutes July 29, 2020

Mayor Hostetler called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Present: Aldermen Aldrich, Elliott, Hertel, Johnston and Richmond.

Treasurer Richmond explained this is the Village’s first Public Hearing for the proposed Budget for the fiscal year 2020-2021. The proposed budget is just the beginning of this process. There will be two more Public Hearings for August and September.

The Finance Committee had their first meeting to review the proposed budget numbers and will have to continue this process until we finish discussions to project Revenues and Expenses for the General Fund and Utility Fund. Also, bond payments and Construction in Process expectations for the fiscal year.
