Village of Briarcliff Village Council Public Hearing Minutes June 25, 2025

Mayor Hostetler called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Present: Aldermen Aldrich, Charlesworth, Johnston and Richmond. Absent: Alderman Elliott.

Mayor Hostetler explained that the Village of Briarcliff will be annexing a 3-acre tract out of William Hieronymus Survey, Section No. 800, Abstract No. 384, Travis County, Texas by virtue of a voluntary Petition Requesting Annexation by area Landowner, filed on or about May 19, 2025 by the Dibrell Family LLC, a Texas Limited Liability Company; authorizing appropriate Village officers and officials to take all actions necessary for said annexation and the execution of Ordinance No. 06-25-25-07.

The City Administrator stated that the 3-acre tract is adjacent to our Dibrell property and Felicia Drive. The City Administrator explained that the city will provide water and waste water if any owners decide to develop the property. At this time the 3- acre lot is open land and will be residential zoning.
