Village of Briarcliff Village Council Regular Meeting Minutes- October 24, 2018

Mayor Pro-Tem Hertel called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Present: Aldermen Elliott, Bowles, Johnston and Richmond.

Absent: Mayor Hostetler.

Pledge of Allegiance.

Troy Wenzel, Interim Fire Chief of the Pedernales Fire Department explained the process to create a new Travis County Emergency Services District. Part of that process requires consent from Municipalities within the District. He requested to be on the Village of Briarcliff next Regular Monthly Agenda.

Alderman Bowles made a motion, seconded by Alderman Johnston, to accept and waive the reading of the minutes of the September 19, 2018 Regular Monthly Meeting. All in favor, motion passed.

Alderman Elliott read and gave a review of the financial reports for September, 2018. No comments or questions from the Citizens or Council.

Mayor Pro-Tem stated that Mayor Hostetler had nothing new to report.

Chief DeLira reported that National Night out went really well. Short Term Rentals has been keeping us all busy. He will be out and about on Halloween night.

City Administrator, Aaron Johnson gave a brief update regarding City Business.

There were a few citizen comments and questions.
