Village of Briarcliff Village Council Regular Meeting Minutes- July 24, 2019

Mayor Pro-Tem Hertel called the meeting to order at 7:15 p.m.

Pledge of Allegiance.

Present: Aldermen Aldrich, Elliott, Hertel, Johnston and Richmond. Absent: Mayor Hostetler.

Alderman Aldrich made a motion, seconded by Alderman Richmond, to accept and waive the reading of the minutes of the July 2, 2019, Special Called Meeting of the Village Council regarding Law Enforcement. All in favor, Motion passed.

Alderman Johnston made a motion, seconded by Alderman Elliott, to accept and waive the reading of the minutes of the July 2, 2019, Special Called Meeting of the of the Finance Committee to begin budget process for the fiscal year October 1, 2019 — September 30, 2020. All in favor, Motion passed.

Alderman Richmond made a motion, seconded by Alderman Aldrich, to accept and waive the reading of the minutes of the June 26, 2019, City Council Regular Monthly Meeting. All in favor, motion passed.

Alderman Richmond read and gave a review of the financial reports for June, 2019.

Mayor Pro-Tem gave an update about ongoing activities:

As of July 1st oak trees can be trimmed. However, wounds must be treated immediately after trimming.

The Village of Briarcliff is taking over the annual National Night Out which is the 1st Tuesday of October.

City Administrator, Aaron Johnson announced we only have 130 meters left to install.
