Village of Briarcliff Village Council Regular Meeting Minutes- February 26, 2020

Mayor Hostetler called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Pledge of Allegiance.

Present: Aldermen Aldrich, Elliott, Johnston, Hertel and Richmond.

Mayor Hostetler asked if there is any Citizen Communications.

Alderman Richmond made a motion, seconded by Alderman Elliott, to accept and waive the reading of the minutes of the January 29, 2020 Regular Monthly Meeting Minutes. All in favor, Motion passed.

Alderman Richmond read and gave a review of the financial reports for January 2020.

Mayor Hostetler read the Order to Cancel the Election of May 2, 2020 for the unopposed Candidates for three Alderman for the Village of Briarcliff. All in favor, motion passed.

Alderman Richmond made a motion, seconded by Alderman Hertel to approve LCRA Resolution 2020-02-26-08. All in favor, motion passed.

Alderman Johnston made a motion, seconded by Alderman Hertel to approve Building Program Resolution 2020-02-26-09. All in favor, motion passed.

Alderman Elliott made a motion, seconded by Alderman Hertel to appoint Rene Reagan, Deputy Court Clerk. All in favor, motion passed.

Mayor Hostetler gave an update about ongoing activities:

Trimming Oak trees is prohibited in Briarcliff until July 1st. Six new homes were approved last month, three more were approved this month and we have several on their way.

Mayor Hostetler read the Constables Security Report:

107 Community Contacts, 1 Courtesy Ride, 10 Close Patrols and 6 Assist Other Agents.

City Administrator, Aaron Johnson gave a brief update.
