Village of Briarcliff Village Council Regular Meeting Minutes May 27, 2020

Mayor Hostetler called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Present: Aldermen Aldrich, Elliott, Hertel, Johnston, and Richmond.

Mayor Hostetler swore in the Alderman Jeff Elliott, Alderman Jo Ann Richmond and Alderman Linda Aldrich.

Mayor Hostetler nominated Alderman Hertel, Mayor Pro-Tem and Alderman Richmond, Treasurer for the Village of Briarcliff. Council approved both nominations.

No Citizens were present for Citizen Communications.

Alderman Richmond made a motion, seconded by Alderman Hertel, to accept and waive the reading of the minutes of the April 29, 2020 Regular Monthly Meeting Minutes. All in favor, Motion passed.

Alderman Richmond gave a review of the financial reports for April, 2020.

Mayor Hostetler gave an update about ongoing activities:

Update regarding Oak Wilt trenching.

Mayor Hostetler read the Constables Security Report:

0 Citations, 16 Warnings, N/A Community Contacts, N/A Close Patrols, School Bus Patrols N/A, 0 Security Guards/Non-Complaint.

Community Event: Briarcliff Parade for the 2020 Senior Class of Lake Travis High School (May 23, 2020).

City Administrator gave a brief report.
