Travis County is initiating an effort to organize Travis County evacuation efforts. I’ve been involved in the process but I’m looking for a volunteer to be on the steering committee to bring it to fruition. If you, or someone you know will volunteer, please let me know. I’m running out of time.

Burn Ban still in effect. Please call the office with offenders.

2020 Census: Village of Briarcliff population now 2062 2010 Census: 1438 About a 45% increase.

Cat Hollow Duplexes-Sub division which includes the proposed duplexes has revised their Restrictive Covenants. They have re-established their ACC and have requested that the Village does not provide permits in their area without their ACC approval. As we always do with the BPOA, we will comply with their request.

As I stated last month, Cindy Taylor generated a letter to citizens in the Cat Hollow area requesting their input regarding the possibility of the Village changing the zoning ordinance to include that area basically the same as with the BPOA area. Results are very positive – about 80 letters sent and we have 45 positive results with no negatives.

I think it’s time to change their zoning based on the response. Request an unofficial poll from the Council – do you agree to change their zoning?

Aaron and I will prepare the paperwork and rules. It will be an extensive effort. Will provide to our Lawyer for formal preparation then will begin the process with the Council.
