Mayor Hostetler called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Present: Aldermen Aldrich, Elliott, Johnston and Taylor. Absent: Alderman Richmond.
Alderman Aldrich made a motion, seconded by Alderman Elliott, to accept and waive the reading of the minutes of the February 23, 2022, Village Council Regular Monthly Meeting. All in favor, motion passed.
City Secretary Tina Linder gave a brief review of the revenues and expenses of the February, 2022 financials.
Mayor Hostetler read the Cancellation of Election Order of May 7, 2022 for the unopposed Candidates for three Aldermen for the Village of Briarcliff. All in favor, motion passed.
Mayor Hostetler gave an update regarding ongoing activities:
Mayor announced the BPOA preliminary approval of Briarcliff Villas Condos.
BPOA Elections are complete.
Sargeant Lawrence Edwards introduced Scott Ginnetti as the Village permanent Deputy. Mayor Hostetler welcomed Scott Ginnetti.
Security Report: Patrol every street for visibility purposes to deter crime, taking calls for service, self-initiating personal contact with the community to build a better partnership, stationary and rolling radar for compliance of the speed limit.
Monthly patrol hours: 176
Total of 82 calls for Service and Traffic: 12 Traffic Stops, 7 Warnings, 3 Citations, 2 Violations of City Ordinance, 11 Close Patrols, and 23 Community Contacts.
City Administrator, Aaron Johnson gave a brief report regarding the Utilities.
