Mayor Hostetler called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Present: Alderman Aldrich, Johnston, Richmond and Taylor. Absent: Alderman Elliott.
Janet Uecker regarding Short Term Rental. Mike regarding Hunters Point unit 7 duplex.
Alderman Richmond made a motion, seconded by Alderman Taylor, to accept and waive the reading of the minutes of the April 25, 2022, Village Council Regular Monthly Meeting. All in favor, motion passed.
Election of Mayor Pro Tem Aldrich and Richmond as Treasurer. All in favor. Motion passed.
Alderman Richmond gave a brief review of the revenues and expenses of the April, 2022 financials.
Mayor Hostetler gave an update regarding ongoing activities: Automated irrigation systems. Allowed to water before 10 am or after 7 pm on designated days. Odd number addresses: Wednesday and Saturday Even number addresses: Thursday and Sunday
2020 Census: Village of Briarcliff population now 2,062 2010 Census: 1,438 About a 45% increase.
Cat Hollow Duplexes β LCRA letter sent to property owners close by looking for input.
Cindy Taylor has generated a letter to citizens in the Cat Hollow area requesting their input regarding the possibility of the Village changing the zoning ordinance to include that area the same as with the BPOA area.
Security Report submitted by Scott Ginnetti, Sr. Deputy Constable, Travis County Constableβs Office Pct #2:
Patrol every street for visibility purposes to deter crime, taking calls for service, self-initiating personal contact with the community to build a better partnership, stationary and rolling radar for compliance of the speed limit. Monthly patrol hours: 160 hours
