Village of Briarcliff Village Council Regular Meeting Minutes July 26, 2023

Mayor Pro-Tem Aldrich called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Present: Alderman Elliott, Richmond and Taylor.

Absent: Mayor Hostetler and Alderman Johnston.

Citizen Communications: No Citizens were in attendance at this meeting.

Alderman Richmond made a motion, seconded by: Alderman Taylor to accept and waive the reading of the minutes of the June 28, 2023, Regular Monthly Meeting. All in favor. Motion passed.

Alderman Richmond reported nothing out of the ordinary for the month of June, 2023.

Keith Neffendorf, Partner-in-Charge of Neffendorf & Blocker, P.C. gave the presentation of the Village of Briarcliff fiscal year ending September, 2022 Audit. Keith stated that they made use of the audit feature in Fundview instead of having to drive to Briarcliff to complete the 2022 audit.

Constable Deputy Cerrillo Law Enforcement Report, June 2023. Daily activities include the following: Patrol every street for visibility purposes to deter crime, taking calls for service, self-initiating personal contact with the community to build a better partnership and stationary and rolling radar for compliance of the speed limit. Monthly Patrol Hours: 160 hours Calls for Service 77, Traffic Stops Close Patrols and Community Contacts 33.

Aaron Johnson, City Manager gave his report regarding water systems. Three hours 285,000 gallons over half overnight 24/7.
