VILLAGE OF BRIARCLIFF COUNCIL

Minutes August 28, 2024

Mayor Pro-tem Aldrich call the meeting to order at 7:14 pm.

Absent: Alderman Taylor. Present: Aldermen Johnston, Richmond and Charlesworth.

Michael Olszewski need to purchase new buoys email Aaron Johnson.

Approval of the minutes of the July 31, 2024 Village Council Regular Monthly Meeting. Alderman Richmond made a motion, seconded by Alderman Charlesworth to accept and waive the reading of the minutes. All in favor, motion passed.

Alderman Richmond gave a brief report for the Financials for July 31, 2024. Categories change from year to year. We have had two budget workshops, general fund expenses, Roads, water Lab tests on budget.

Update for the Pedernales Franchise Fee Ordinance 2023-08-28-01.

Keith Neffendorf, Partner-in-Charge of Neffendorf & Blocker, P.C. to present the Village of Briarcliff fiscal year ending September, 2023 Audit. (Good Audit)

Deputy Luis Ozuna announced National Night Out October 1st.

City Manager Report: Draft agreement from the developers.
