Village of Briarcliff Village Council Regular Meeting Minutes October 30, 2024
Mayor Hostetler called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Present: Aldermen Charlesworth, Johnston, Aldrich and Taylor. Alderman Richmond was absent.
Alderman Johnston made a motion, seconded by Alderman Aldrich, to accept and waive the reading of the minutes of the September 11, 2024, Public Hearing. All in favor, Motion passed.
Alderman Charlesworth made a motion, seconded by Alderman Johnston, to accept and waive the reading of the minutes of the September 11, 2024, Regular Monthly Meeting Minutes. All in favor, Motion passed.
Alderman Aldrich made a motion, seconded by Alderman Charlesworth on extending the time to December 31, 2025 for the re-zoning of lots 1375 & 1378, Briarcliff Inc., Section 9 Amended as set forth in Ordinance No. 2021-12-08-07, and authorize Mayor Hostetler to send an agreement letter to the appropriate parties and take all actions necessary related to the same.
Alderman Aldrich made a motion, seconded by Alderman Taylor to approve Resolution 2024-10-30-08, FEMA mitigation assistance.
Village Financial Report for September 2024.
Mayor Hostetler gave an update about ongoing activities:
Constable Luis Ozuna gave report regarding the car break ins that happened around Briarcliff recently.
City Administrator had nothing to report.
