Mayor Hostetler called the meeting to order at 7:01 p.m.
Present: Mayor Hostetler, Aldermen Charlesworth, Johnston, Aldrich and Richmond. Absent: Alderman Taylor.
Citizenβs communications: Resident would like the Village to put the speed monitor out and around Briarcliff again. Mayor Hostetler was asked if there were any updates on Firewise. Resident wanted an update about the police car and was informed that it will be put up for auction but that is a process that will take some time.
Alderman Aldrich made a motion, seconded by Alderman Johnston, to accept and waive the reading of the minutes of the March 26, 2025 Regular Meeting. All in favor, Motion passed.

Update about ongoing activities: Mayor Hostetler gave an update regarding contract with Constables. Our full time Constable is in training but will be patrolling the Village full time in the next coming weeks. Mayor Hostetler gave reminders that it is prohibited to cut oaks due to oak wilt until July 1st. The Mayor also reminded residents of the watering schedule and that we are monitoring very closely so if you are not adhering to the schedule you can and will receive fines.
Security Report: Officer Edwards reminded residents to lock car doors and shut garages.
City Administrator stated that there has been a delay with the surveyors for the new main line and he is starting to consider a request for bids for about 9,000 feet of 12 inch pipe for new line. City Administrator stated everything is quiet at the water plant and also gave a reminder that city is under Stage 2 watering restrictions and Residents are allowed to water once a week only.
