Mayor Hostetler called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Present: Mayor Hostetler, Aldermen Charlesworth, Johnston, Aldrich, Taylor and Richmond.

Citizen’s communications: Resident asked if there were any No Soliciting signs at entrance. Resident also spoke about having to chase off tree trimming solicitors about a month ago. Still requesting speed bumps.

Alderman Charlesworth made a motion, seconded by Alderman Johnston, to accept and waive the reading of the minutes of the January 29, 2025 Regular Meeting. All in favor, Motion passed.

Village Financial Report for January 29, 2025 read by Alderman Richmond.

Alderman Charlesworth made a motion, seconded by Alderman Johnston to approve Mayor Al Hostetler to sign Precinct 4 contract. All in favor, Motion passed.

Update about ongoing activities: Mayor Hostetler will speak with our County Commissioner once contract is signed in regards to small cities and affordable police presence. Mayor Hostetler announced that we will be revitalizing our Firewise efforts. Including getting more information to citizens, plans to clean up overgrown areas. Mayor Hostetler also will be meeting with the Lighthouse condos team this week, may be ready to submit plans in the next few months

No Security Report.

City Administrator said it has been business as usual, just normal maintenance. Surveyors should be out by Friday, February 28th regarding main waterline on Pace Bend. Planning to get a bidding packet together for waterline project on Pace Bend.
