VILLAGE OF BRIARCLIFF Special Meeting of the Village of Briarcliff Minutes – February 14, 2019
Mayor Hostetler called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Present: Alderman Bowles, Elliott, Johnston and Richmond. Absent: Alderman Hertel.
Mayor Hostetler detailed a proposal by Travis County Constable Precinct Two to provide police protection services to the Village. He explained this would fill the void after the resignation of the Village Chief of Police, Lou DeLira.
Alderman Elliott made a motion, seconded by Alderman Johnston, to authorize the Mayor to negotiate and execute contract for law enforcement provided by Travis County Precinct Two within the City limits of Briarcliff. All in favor, motion passed.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:32 p.m. Aaron Johnson Village Administrator
