VILLAGE OF BRIARCLIFF Special Meeting of the Village of Briarcliff Minutes – July 2, 2019
Mayor Hostetler called the meeting to order at 1:15 p.m.
Present: Alderman Hertel, Johnston, Aldrich and Richmond. Absent: Alderman Elliott.
Mayor Hostetler detailed a proposal by Travis County Constable Precinct Two to provide police protection services to the Village. He explained this would fill the void after the resignation of the Village Chief of Police, Lou DeLira.
Alderman Richmond made a motion, seconded by Alderman Aldrich, to authorize the Mayor or Mayor Pro-Tem to negotiate and execute contract for law enforcement provided by Travis County Constable Precinct Two for the Village limits of Briarcliff. All in favor, motion passed.
The meeting was adjourned at 1:56 p.m. Tina Linder, Village Clerk
